The Dune Forests of De Haan cover no less than 157 hectares of varied woodland and open landscape. This versatile area is perfect for walking, jogging, cycling, mountain biking, or even exploring by wheelchair.

For children, there are three large playground zones where they can play freely. Additionally, there are two summer play areas of about one and a half hectares where they can build camps and try out rope courses with their supervisors.

Animal lovers will also be pleased: a 13-kilometer-long horse riding trail winds through the area, and you can admire the grazing Galloway cattle in their natural environment.
