Young & dynamic

Nieuwpoort is a young, dynamic seaside resort with lots of activities. The city has a beautiful, long sand beach and dunes, ideal for a nice beach walk. During summer, you can go for a drink in one of the cozy beach bars, the perfect way to cool down during those hot summer days. There is even a playground on the beach, fun guaranteed!

Not far from Nieuwpoort is Middelkerke, another charming seaside resort on the Belgian coast. Middelkerke offers beautiful beaches and a lively atmosphere, with plenty of events and activities throughout the year. The town also has a beautiful seafront, ideal for walking or enjoying sea views.

But aside the beach and pier, Nieuwpoort has lots more to offer for the cyclists and hikers among us. Natural reserve ‘de Ijzermonding’ is the most idyllic spot of Nieuwpoort, where you can enjoy the beautiful fauna and flora for hours thanks to a very large network of hiking and bike paths.

Nieuwpoort is also a beautiful, historical city with numerous monuments and historic buildings. The best known monument is the King Albert I monument, but the historic city center is also worth a visit.

There is also lots of art to admire in Nieuwpoort, thanks to Beaufort artworks such as ‘Le vent soufflé où il veut’ by artist Daniel Buren. But the most famous piece is the ‘Searching for Utopia’ of course, better known as Jan Fabre’s Golden Turtle.

Holiday Suites Nieuwpoort

Our holiday residence is a beautiful, new residence built in the typical Nieuwpoort New-England style, close to the port of Nieuwpoort. You can choose between holiday homes for 2 to 7 people. Each holiday home has a fully equipped kitchen, cozy sitting area with tv. There are also a bunch of facilities, like a heated indoor pool, a hammam and a sauna. The ideal setting to completely unwind!

A limited number of parking spaces are available on the domain. These parking lots are charged (€0,90/hour) and on arrival you can check if there is space available. There is plenty of free parking space outside the domain.

The Belgian Coast

Nieuwpoort is known to have the largest marina of the Belgian coast, but the other coastal towns are also charming in their own way. Thanks to the Coast Tram, you can easily make a trip to nearby cities such as Koksijde and Lombardsijde, or to one of the other Belgian seaside resorts. Don’t forget to visit Ostend, one of the most dynamic cities of the Belgian coast. Ostend is only a 20-minute drive away from Nieuwpoort. So many options!
