Introduction

Meet Marc and Fabienne, an active couple who brought their loyal four-legged friend Max along on holiday. At Holiday Suites, dogs are more than welcome, so Max didn’t have to miss a second of the seaside adventure.

Their stay became a wonderful mix of relaxing walks, fun activities and quality time together – with their dog always by their side.

 

Playing and searching for sand flowers

After a short walk, their feet were already in the sand. The children eagerly got to work with their buckets and spades, while Luc and Nadine watched from their beach chairs. Classic sand flowers appeared in the sand, carefully decorated with shells.

There was laughter, building and admiration. From castles to fantasy creatures – every creation found its place on the beach. For young and old, it became a morning full of creativity, sunshine and pure beach happiness.

Lunchtime with a sea view

After a lively morning on the beach, the family sat down at a sunny terrace along the promenade. The children enjoyed their favourite dishes – croque monsieur, fries – while Luc and Nadine savoured a light lunch and toasted each other with a glass of Aperol.

The sea breeze, the gentle murmur on the promenade and the view of the waves made the moment complete. Between bites and conversations, there was laughter, sharing and pure enjoyment.

Go-kart plezier op de dijk

Tijd voor wat actie! In de namiddag huurden Luc en Nadine een go-kart voor vier personen. Met de kinderen voorin en opa aan het stuur ging het in volle vaart over de dijk, langs flanerende wandelaars en lachende gezichten.

De wind in de haren, het geluid van rinkelende fietsbelletjes en het vrolijke gegiechel van de kleinkinderen maakten het plaatje compleet.

Even later was het oma’s beurt om het stuur over te nemen, tot groot enthousiasme van de kinderen. Een simpel ritje, maar eentje dat nog lang zal bijblijven.

Exploring Middelkerke

On their final day, Luc and Nadine took the grandchildren to the SILT building in Middelkerke, just a stone’s throw from their accommodation. This modern hotspot combines culture, architecture and a stunning view of the sea.

The children ran excitedly up the stairs to the panoramic deck, eager to see what was waiting at the top.

Luc and Nadine took in the moment, the view and the silence at the top. A surprising end to a holiday full of warm memories.
