Enjoy an extended weekend by the sea during the Ascension weekend
In 2024, Ascension Day falls on Thursday 9 May. Those who take a day off on Friday thus benefit from a blissful extended weekend. Meanwhile, spring is in full swing and summer is even approaching. Temperatures are rising and the days are getting longer, so the evenings stay light longer.
The perfect moment to book a long weekend at the Belgian coast. Our holiday flats are situated at different locations along the coast, more specifically in Blankenberge, Zeebrugge, De Haan, Nieuwpoort and Westende. During the day you can enjoy the beach, the dunes and the sea, in the evening you can eat delicious local shrimp croquettes or mussels in a restaurant and afterwards you can walk along the seawall and watch the beautiful sunset. How wonderful does that sound?
