Autumn holiday at the Belgian coast! Come enjoy the colorful season

Autumn is overwhelmingly one of the cosiest seasons we know. Moreover, it is also one of the most colourful periods of the year. Are you already looking forward to the orange carpet of leaves? So are we! Will you come to pick up shells in the dunes and drink hot chocolate in our suite afterwards? Come on down!

As we know, autumn weather can often be a bit inclement. Luckily, we are prepared for that too. With great indoor activities near our residences, you are always in for a treat. For example, opt for a day at Plopsaqua or a visit to Fort Napoleon in Oostende.

When is the autumn holiday in 2025?

In 2025, the autumn school holidays across Europe are spread out but overlap nicely with each other.

  • In Flanders (Belgium), the autumn break is from 27 October to 2 November 2025.
  • In the Netherlands, holidays run between 11 October and 26 October 2025 depending on the region.
  • In France, the Toussaint holidays last from 18 October to 2 November 2025.
  • In England and Wales, the autumn half-term is from 27 to 31 October 2025.
