On the Beach

From June 1 to September 15, dogs are not allowed in supervised beach zones, dunes, and the sea between 10 AM and 7 PM. In the Vosseslag and Harendijke bathing zones, dogs may pass on a leash to stay outside the bathing zone. Outside this period and in unsupervised zones, dogs are always welcome and may roam freely. Dog owners must clean up after their dogs.

Public Places

In other publicly accessible places, including dune forests, dogs must be kept on a leash of no more than 1.50 meters. Dogs are not allowed in municipal buildings and cemeteries.

Off-Leash Zones

Dogs may run freely in designated, fenced green zones at:

• Kennedyplein (Vosseslag)
• Sport- en Recreatiecentrum Haneveld (De Haan)
• Lindenlaan (De Haan)
• Duinbossen bij Zwarte Kiezel
• Manitobastraat (Wenduine)
• Hoek Westhinderlaan en Wancourstraat (Wenduine)
