8 things to do during your Easter break at the coast

The Easter holidays are the perfect time to escape the daily grind and enjoy a well-earned break. What could be better than getting a breath of fresh air at the coast? We would like to give you some tips to fill your holiday planning. From relaxing beach walks to cultural explorations, we have something for everyone.

1. Take a pleasant walk along the coast

Enjoy a relaxing walk on the beach. Nothing more fun than stepping barefoot along the waterline and occasionally dipping your feet in the water, right?

Not such a fan of the sand? Then of course you can enjoy a walk on the dyke just as much.

2. Go exploring by bike (or gocart)

Explore the coastline in a unique way with a bicycle tour or a ride in an iconic gocart. There are numerous mapped cycling routes available that take you past the coast's most beautiful spots. No bike with you? No problem! On the coast, there are plenty of rental services for bikes and gocarts.

3. Enjoy art and culture

Here you will find a great overview of many cultural attractions in our coastal municipalities. Moreover, you are not far from Bruges, a city bursting with culture.

4. Visit local markets

Feel the lively atmosphere and taste the freshness of local produce at the various markets along the Belgian coast. Each market offers a unique opportunity not only to buy fresh goods, but also to experience the local culture.
